What to Expect in a Group Reading

Expect the Unexpected and more in a group reading!

Yesterday, June 9, Prana Lab hosted one of my very first small group readings. It was amazing! The ways in which Spirit comes through never cease to blow my mind. Usually, for about three or four days before an event or a one-on-one appointment, I start receiving information meant for the people who will come to me. Yesterday we had about four people - and two dogs! - come in to provide proof of survival after death, as well as validation that love is forever.

Expect the Unexpected

There is no way to predict how a small group reading will go. Every medium works a little bit differently. For me, it’s a bit like waiting by a payphone (remember those?)! Spirit calls me up, I pick up the “phone” so to speak and relay messages as they come in. Sometimes people who were very important to the audience member come in - and sometimes they are guardians or distant friends. For example, during the reading yesterday, one woman had an old friend come in - someone she had not heard from in years, but who was coming through to say she was fine on the other side and sent love. Most people had validating experiences - but the ways in which their loved ones came through to them changed every time.

Be prepared for messages to come in in a variety of ways.

Like Attracts Like?

Call it a spirit cluster or like attracts like…

I’m not sure why this works out the way it does, but I have noticed that participants in small group readings may have certain things in common. For example, I once did a small group where most of the participants had lost a person to cancer - and were hoping that person would come through. In other groups, several people had been from the same state or had recently gone through a moving process! Wild!

I believe that Spirit puts similar people together so that we can listen to the readings of others and have their personal experiences validate our own paths.

Set an Intention

Set an intention within yourself before the group reading. Maybe take some time and journal. Write a letter to the person you hope will come through! Focus on what you want to get out of a group reading. Is it connection to a loved one? Connection to a guide? Or do you just want to watch and see what unfolds for others? Any of these is fine. Your comfort is paramount in these situations.

Breathe into your personal intention before the group reading.
